Courier Express's Mid-South Region, headquartered in Atlanta, is dedicated to providing the highest quality service, in a time-efficient manner, with the least amount of stress to our customers.

"There are many businesses with transportation needs that go beyond normal working hours, Monday through Friday," said David ReDavid, VP and General Manager. "And, for us, that means continuing to expand our staff so we can provide high-quality service 24 hours a day, seven days a week."

And that is exactly what the Mid-South Region has done, adding eight employees and 45 independent contractors in 2009, with an emphasis on off-hours service. It is one of the reasons that, even in a challenging economic environment, Courier Express has continued to grow rapidly and is able to offer customized service in an increasing number of locations.

In addition, the company remains committed to the latest technology. In 2009, Courier Express made a significant investment in scanning technology that allows customers to closely monitor details of shipments in real time.

"Lots of companies can pick up and deliver packages," ReDavid said. "But no one in the business is more flexible or responsive than we are. And no one knows this area like we do. This is our home and Atlanta is our base. We have positioned ourselves to be the dominant player here."

"We have one large customer that requires more than 140 deliveries every night to restock multiple stores," said ReDavid. "All our deliveries are made before they open for business each morning."
