Our expansion in 2009, opening new facilities in Memphis and Tri-Cities while enlarging our main location in Nashville, has helped enhance our capabilities and improve our efficiency. What has not changed is our commitment to superior service.

"We can now offer statewide coverage with same-day or overnight deliveries," said General Manager Jeff McAlpin, who has been with Courier Express for six years. "It is not a matter of us moving into new markets as much as expanding and improving where we already provide service."

What sets us apart from our competition? Round-the-clock service, seven days a week, and our commitment to remaining flexible in seeking creative solutions. In addition, we treat every customer, from small startups to members of the Fortune 500, with the level of attention they desire.

"Their attention to detail and customer service has worked very well for us," said Jimmie Carol Hyman of the Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tenn. "We are often dealing with many time-sensitive items. We might have pharmaceuticals we are borrowing from another hospital and we only have a 45-minute window. Courier Express has been very responsive."

"Many of our customers have special requirements and needs," McAlpin said. "We do whatever it takes to serve them. One of our customers has shipments of live birds that come in on cargo planes a couple times a week. They require careful handling. We had to make special arrangements to make sure they remain in a climate-controlled environment. We figured out how to safely pick them up, house them in our facility, and safely deliver them to pet stores across the area."
